Lauren recently graduated with a BFA from Pratt Institute, where she fine tuned her skills as a painter and printmaker. She completed her apprenticeship at Voodoo Monkey Tattoo in Cleveland, Ohio during her summers and now works full time as a tattoo artist, still painting and doing illustration on the side. While fresh to the tattooing game, she’s eager to learn anything and everything she can from her coworkers and other seasoned tattooers. There’s nothing she loves more than an inventive idea combined with the bold simplicity of traditional American tattooing to make a great custom tattoo. Other influences include folk art, tibetan imagery, DIY/punk, printmaking, vintage illustration and anything generally spooky.
